Silvial is a powerful, vibrant muguet ingredient with a slight citrus undertone and a fresh, aldehydic touch that is used in perfumery in the same way as related muguet products.

Has marine and balsamic aspects to it.

This material is a bright and versatile muguet type aldehyde with a fresh, modern character. It opens with a clean floral freshness reminiscent of lily of the valley, supported by airy marine nuances and a soft aldehydic sparkle. Subtle green and balsamic undertones add natural depth and balance, preventing the note from becoming sharp or overly vegetal.

Compared to traditional cyclamen type aldehydes, this material offers greater flexibility in formulation and can be used at higher concentrations while maintaining a smooth, elegant profile. It is especially valued for adding lift, diffusion, and freshness to floral, aldehydic, fresh, and contemporary compositions. Lasts 336 hours on the scent strip.

Silvial performs best as a top to mid, bringing lift, diffusion, and brightness to floral and fresh compositions. It is particularly effective in muguet structures, where it enhances radiance without overpowering the floral body. Unlike sharper cyclamen type aldehydes, it tolerates higher dosage levels without developing aggressive green or vegetal facets, making it suitable for both subtle freshness and more pronounced aldehydic effects.

Pair this with Hedione to enhance diffusion. Or pair with Ambroxan/Ambroxide for clean difussion and longevity.

Blends well with Iso E Super, Hydroxycitronellal, Linalyl Acetate, Phenyl Ethyl Alcohol, Citronellol and Benzyl Acetate.
